Sprinting In The Sunshine

Kingswood Cross Country travelled to Bryanston to take part in the 63rd Ken Bailey races. Against large fields of runners there were some superb efforts, particularly from the younger year groups. Bea ran brilliantly for the Inter girls, while Oscar showed real guts in the Inter Boys. The run of the day though came from Max who stepped up to the Senior Boys team and ran superbly in the sunshine.

It was similarly glorious conditions on Saturday morning at the Avon Country Championships, where we had great representation from Kingswood, particularly in the Junior boys and the Senior girls race. However, the run of the day was from Dan who ran himself to a standstill in the Inter Boys.
