Nail Biting Chess Fixture Against Prior Park

On Monday 12 of Kingswood’s strongest chess players attended the inaugural chess fixture versus Prior Park. In spite of the palpable tension from all players, Kingswood’s players did the school proud with a 12-8 win, taking the first W of the season. 

A special mention must go to Jack who managed to take a point against the number 1 ranked Romanian under-18 player. As well as Seb who was our youngest player and managed to get a valuable win for the team against tough opponents.
