Jumble Sale Raises Over £2100 For Charity Projects In Malawi

Mrs Opie would like to thank the pupils, staff and parents who helped with the Jumble Sale. 

It was a real team effort and involved delivering leaflets in the Lansdown area, collecting, sorting and selling the jumble, setting up and running the café, as well as clearing up the Theatre at the end. 

There is still some money to come in but the total is already over £2100. 

This money will go towards supporting Felister  Manyamba to do a Nursing Degree in Malawi.  

Felister is from Pemphero School, which is a school that Kingswood has been involved with for several years, including helping to fund and build girls’ boarding accommodation.

Felister was one of the first girls to benefit from this accommodation and it is so exciting that the School is going to help her fulfil her dream of becoming a nurse.
