Kingswood Cross Country Runners Impress At Canford Relays

Last Thursday, 28 Kingswood runners made the journey down to Canford for the Cross Country season’s end of season finale – the Canford Relays.

Lizzie and Grace made up two of the first three runners to make it to the transition zone, finishing in times that put them both third overall for their spits.

There were a number of other excellent performances including Evie who dipped under 12 minutes and Will who ran a strong first leg for the Inter Boys.

The Senior Boys and Girls competed strongly but it was the Inter teams who stole the glory; with the Inter Girls finishing an impressive 3^rd in a strong field and Inter Boys team consisting of Will, Jamie, Oliver and Jim.

This win meant that the trophy returned to Kingswood for the first time since 2011.
