Football Season Ends With Two Excellent Results

Kingswood’s Football teams travelled to Wycliffe last week for the final fixtures of the season whilst both teams came away with good victories.

The 2^nd XI secured a 7-3 win whilst the 1^st XI won 5-1 which ensured that they ended the season undefeated.

The 1^st XI enjoyed a dominant first half in which they hit the woodwork three times and kept the Wycliffe keeper very busy and headed into the break with a 3-0 lead.

An excellent individual goal mid-way through the second half from skipper Fin in his last match for the School put the game beyond doubt.

In the final 10 minutes, Wycliffe scored from the penalty spot and then Ollie responded with a spot-kick of his own to ensure a good win and an undefeated season.
