Pupils Perform Music Concert For Patients At Dorothy House
Last Monday, 28 pupils from Years 7 to Lower Sixth performed to the patients and staff of Dorothy House.
Dorothy House is a special place that cares for people with terminal illnesses and the School was delighted to be able to return following the success of our previous concert two years ago.
It was a beautiful concert with 17 performances ranging from rock strings with harp and cajon, a Telemann violin duet and a Scarlatti Harp Sonata solo debut by Sonia.
The concert displayed a tremendous array of talent and musical variety with Mr Knights providing accompaniment throughout the morning.
It was very rewarding for pupils to be part of something so important for the School’s wider community.
Pupils enjoyed putting a smile on the faces of everyone at Dorothy House and they even noticed them tapping and singing along to the pieces!
