Kingswood's Artistically Talented Students' Award Ceremony
Last Saturday, the Music and Drama Departments came together to host the 17th annual ‘KATS’ award ceremony.
This celebrates the achievements of all of Kingswood’s Artistically Talented Students.
Our thanks go to Mrs Nash, Mr Barton and Mr Francis who never entertained the possibility of cancelling this much anticipated event in the School calendar.
Their extraordinary efforts, vision and creativity, particularly of Mr Francis and his team of twelve talented techies, did not go unnoticed.
Live and online, Mrs Nash commented that hosting the event was a small taste of what it must be like backstage in a television studio and the adrenaline rush was quite something!
Thank you so much to those of you who joined us and helped to make us all feel a little closer together at this strange time.
The full list of nominees and winners is below but we would like to congratulate all those who have taken part in Music and Drama events this past year – we cannot wait to see you back on the stage soon.
To our leavers, the Music and Drama Departments wish you all the very best and hope that you enjoyed your last KATS, albeit from the comfort of your front rooms!
