Year 8 Students Enjoy History Trip To Bristol
March 9th 2020
Last Tuesday, Year 8 pupils travelled to Bristol for a day dedicated to the life and work of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
The pupils were lucky enough to benefit from a day of sunshine and the knowledge of the enthusiastic experts at the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain.
They designed and built bridges, deciphered Brunel’s handwriting in his personal diaries and attempted to draw perfect circles in a moving train carriage.
Mrs Herlinger would like to thank the pupils for being excellent company throughout the day and all the staff who gave their time to accompany the trip.
