Year 6 Take Part In IAPS Regional Hockey Tournament
On Friday, the Year 6 hockey team travelled to Clifton College for the IAPS Regional Tournament and were greeted with beautiful sunshine in Bristol.
The day provided another series of games to play to help the pupils develop the style of hockey that they would like to play.
The pupils enjoyed matches against Millfield, Hatherop Castle, Chandlings and Sandroyd, resulting in some very purposeful hockey from the players.
Heading into their afternoon fixtures, the boys focused more on their commitment and desire in front of goal, as they faced matches against The Down’s, Wraxall, Bromsgrove and Clifton.
The team of Alex, Freddie Sta, Tommy, Freddie Stu, Charlie, Toby, Vivaan, Lexi and Tom worked hard, behaved impeccably, stayed calm and kept trying to play hockey in the correct manner.
Well done to the pupils who took part and thank you to Clifton College for organising the day.
