Hockey Club Progresses To The Regional Finals

Our Hockey teams once more had the better of the block fixture, this time against Dauntsey’s with the 1st XI producing another convincing performance and a 5-0 win.

Charlie played exceptionally for the U14A’s who also won by the same score line.

The U15A’s also remain unbeaten as they won 4-0 and the 2nd XI turned in one of their best displays with a 6-2 victory in which Will was the stand-out performer.

Team of the week are the U12A’s who won 2-0 on Saturday.

Jack, George, Tom and Tom were dominant in the middle of midfield and Sam was very lively up front.

On Tuesday, they also won four out of four matches at the U12 Avon tournament claiming the title of County Champions!

In tough weather conditions, Rory and Charlie were resolute and composed in defence whilst Ollie and player of the tournament, Alfie, were a constant threat in attack.

They now progress to the Regional Finals this week.

At this stage in the season the Hockey Club would like to make two re-awards of full colours to the co-captains Harvey and Ben. 

Both boys have been in outstanding form all season and represent players of the highest calibre.
