Kingswood Advances To Regional Final In Public Speaking Competition

Last Tuesday, Rose, Tara and Rob took part in the local round of the British Professional Public Speaking Competition.

Each took on a particular role, with Tara as Speaker, Rose as Chairperson and Rob as Expresser of Thanks.

Each member of the team performed to a very high level, impressing the judges with their delivery, charisma and confidence.

A special mention goes to Rob who had never taken part in a competition before and adapted easily to a very last minute change of the rules.

Kingswood emerged as the winners, beating four other teams made up entirely of experienced Sixth Form students.

They will now advance to the Regional Final in early March.
