Senior Rugby Teams Record Impressive Wins Against KES
Kingswood’s Senior rugby teams had an excellent start to their season on Saturday, after winning 10 matches out of 13 against King Edward’s.
The U12s put on an impressive display, winning all three matches as over 40 Year 7 students represented the school in their first week.
Ted claimed a hat-trick for the U14Bs and Tom also scored in his first game for the school, as both the U14s and U15s all won their games.
The 2nd team enjoyed a 41-0 win and the 1st XV also performed well to emerge as 25-10 winners.
The U16As demonstrated a fantastic team performance to secure a draw against a team they had lost to for the previous three seasons.
Having tackled excellently against much bigger opponents, the U13Bs were named Team of the Week, winning 25-10 against a strong King Edward’s side.
Tries from Charlie, Alfie, Ed, Monty and Ivan sealed the win after performing well under pressure from their opponents.
Congratulations to Ciaran for being named 1st team captain and to Rory for his appointment as vice-captain for the forthcoming season.
