Tennis Season Concludes With Impressive Performances
In Girls’ Tennis, the U15As and U15Bs played King Edward’s.
On court, our girls looked sharp and their movement was impressive.
Both teams won 6-2 and 7-2 respectively.
Maya and Alice served consistently and had a great game against the opposition’s 1st pair and won 6-4.
Stevie and Rose stood out for the U15Bs for their patience when attaching.
Their best result was against the opposition’s 1st pair and the result was 6-0.
Kingswood’s Boys’ Tennis teams completed their fixtures with two convincing wins under the sunshine at Warminster School.
The 1st team’s results means that they finished with a 100% win rate which is particularly pleasing for Captain and this year’s Leaver, Joe.
Once again, Johnny and Joe were the foundation of a great performance and as a pair, they have been unbeaten all season.
Alex and Gabriel performed with great calmness and maturity to beat Warminster’s 1st pair 6-3, after having been previously behind by two games to three.
Zach used his experience and intelligent shot making to gain two good wins with his partner, Vladimir, who came in at late notice to make a fine debut for the team.
The U15As also had a fruitful afternoon with a 7-2 win.
Sensible shot making and a low percentage of unforced errors was the recipe for success.
Fergus and Xavier won all of their matches comfortably.
Zac played with Jim to pick up two good wins as did Sam and Kit.
