Kingswood’s U19 Netball Team Qualify For Regional Finals

Last week, Kingswood reached the final of the U19 County Tournament and qualified for the Regional Finals.

The team won five of their six matches, losing to King Edward’s 7-10.

They then beat Clifton College in the semi-final before coming up against King Edward’s again in the final.

Kingswood played an excellent final but King Edward’s came out as eventual winners after the nail-biting contest finished 7-12.

Team captain Emily and vice-captain Lexi have been commended for their strong leadership throughout the tournament.

Having made it to the final, Kingswood qualified for the Regional Tournament which will take place in Bournemouth on Saturday 26 January.

The Kingswood side were also supported by England and Team Bath player Serena Guthrie.

Kingswood’s U14 and U16 rounds also take place at the Upper on Tuesday and Thursday.
