Kingswood’s orienteers travelled to Oldbury Court in Bristol for the third league event of the season.

The area contained a steep-sided gorge along the River Frome with open parkland, small forest paths and large cliffs.

The steep valleys were muddy with the recent rain making conditions difficult.

Kingswood had a number of excellent results with a number of pupils scoring maximum points.

Jamie in Year 11, Sebastian in Year 10 and Katya in Year 8 all scored maximum points.

Alberta in Year 9 and Alfie in Year 7 both took second place whilst Elouise made an impressive start in her first competitive event.
