U12Bs And U16As Share Team Of The Week In Strong Block Fixture For Kingswood

It was an excellent start to the second half of term for Kingswood’s rugby teams as they had much the better of the block fixture against Colston’s.

The U12s, U13s, U14s and the U16s all won comfortably as did the 2^nd XV who claimed a 42-0 victory.

In these matches, Ollie scored five tries for the U12As and there were also hat-tricks and Man of the Match displays from Josh and Noah in Year 9.

Team of the Week is shared by the U16As and the U12Bs. The U16As played some of their most attractive rugby to date and but for some handling errors at crucial stages, the win could have been far more comfortable than the eventual 26-10 score line.

The U12Bs played some intelligent rugby and attacked the space which allowed them to run in six tries and much improved tackling restricted the home side’s scoring opportunities.

Men of the Match were Yannis who was excellent in all areas, Drew for his well-deserved hat-trick and Max for his excellent work at the breakdown.
