Senior Trips

14 Spanish pupils in Years 10 to Upper Sixth enjoyed a busy exchange week with partners from the Leonardo de Vinci School near Madrid.

As well as experiencing the warm hospitality of their host families and school life, the group also ventured to the medieval towns of Segovia, Toledo and Madrid.

The pupils were struck by the three influences on Spain during its development as a nation – the Arabic influence of the Moors, the Jewish legacy and the impact of Christianity.

The pupils listened carefully to tours from Spanish guides which required them to apply and develop their Spanish skills.

The pupils really enjoyed the culture and were excellent company throughout with the Spanish staff and families commenting in Kingswood pupils’ impeccable behaviour.
