2nd XI Hockey Team Clinch Impressive 8-0 Victory

The girls hockey 2^nd XI triumphed over a decent King Edward's side 8-0 to secure the Team of the Week accolade.

Izzy capped off a successful performance by scoring a hat-trick, in a match which brilliantly displayed six different goal scorers summing up the team effort.

The U14s narrowly missed out on the semi-finals of their County Tournament on Tuesday.

Despite beating Clifton High and drawing with Colston’s, the Kingswood side were unable to beat King Edward’s.

On Saturday Kingswood’s hockey teams faced King Edward's again and enjoyed much the better of the block fixture.

The U14As bounced back from their defeat by KES in the County Tournament with a hard-fought yet deserved 1-0 win.

Jo Jo received Player of the Match for her efforts, whilst Charlie secured a crucial winner.

There were several contenders for the Team of the Week title with the Westwood teams collectively scoring a total of 26 goals and winning five of their eight games; both A teams also enjoyed comfortable victories.

The 1^st team put in a good performance to beat their King Edward's counterparts 3-0, with Lexi showing particularly good form.
