Last week, the Senior Boys 1st VI played some very good tennis against two talented opponents.

The match against Beechen Cliff provided a rare opportunity for singles matches. Joe won a very high quality match against his opposite number but despite great effort and application from the rest of the team, all of the other matches ended in defeat. In the doubles, Kingswood’s only victory came from Gabriel and Matthew.

On Saturday, three of Kingswood’s teams played Wycliffe. Joe and Charlie won two of their three matches. The 2nd VI won 7-2 with Gabriel and Matthew dropping only six games to continue their unbeaten run.

In the U15 match, the boys demonstrated excellent attitude and skill to win 6-2. Oliver and Vladislav were undefeated on their debuts whilst Coleman and Xavier won their singles matches.

Meanwhile, a series of House tennis matches were played at the weekend in which Summerhill were victorious. Rose and Holly both chased down every ball in a thrilling final match against Fonthill.
