Encouraging Start To Ten Tors Training
January 28th 2018
Ten Tors training began on Sunday with a very successful trip to the Mendips for both the Year 10 and Sixth Form groups.
Despite very muddy conditions underfoot and some poor visibility, all groups navigated well and completed their routes in good time. The Year 10 groups completed a hilly 12 mile circular route which included Beacon Batch – the highest point in the Mendips.
The Sixth Form groups completed a 15 mile linear route starting at Tynings Farm and finishing at Penn Hill. The next training walk takes place after half term on the Marlborough Downs.
