Outstanding Week For Kingswood’s Hockey Teams

It was an outstanding week for Kingswood's boys' hockey teams as the Seniors won all their matches against Monkton Combe on Thursday and followed that up by winning seven out of eight matches against Prior Park.

All of the matches on Saturday were very well-contested so it was even more surprising that none of the teams that won conceded a goal.

Team of the Week was a difficult decision but the 2nd XI claim that award this time. They beat both Monkton Combe and Prior Park who had claimed the U16 County title earlier in the week.

Against Monkton, Tristan was in fine form scoring two goals and always looked threatening. On Saturday, it was the incredible work rate of Fin and Harry that set the tone for an excellent win. Both were rewarded for their efforts by getting on the scoresheet and Jack, who has now scored seven goals in three games since his promotion from the fourth team, scored another brace.
