On Your Marks... Get Set... Bake!

Last weekend, our boarders donned aprons, procured ingredients and created some amazing cakes for the annual Boarders’ Bake Off. The standard this year was way above expectations and Mr Gordon-Brown and Mrs Waltham were lucky enough to be the judges, which meant they were able to taste over fourteen different varieties of cake each! 

The results are to be revealed this Sunday but a big well done to everyone who had a go at baking something and a special mention to Louise Bedding who, despite not being with us in Summerhill house at present, still participated and sent us some photographs of her cake, which we are sure her family enjoyed eating!
