Planting for the future

On Sunday 17^th March, our boarding community came together to participate in a tree planting afternoon on the Middle Sports Field, with trees being funded by Tree Source UK. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon to have our boarders, along with other pupils, staff and residents, help plant over 100 trees.

Planting these trees has created new habitats and will increase biodiversity, alongside helping contribute to carbon sequestration. The students worked together to plant their trees, which they can watch grow during their time at Kingswood and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. It was lovely to see so many people supporting Kingswood working towards a more sustainable future, showing that we can come together to create a lovely community feel whilst making a significant environmental impact.
