Year 2 Pupil Raises Over £100 For The Salvation Army
Year 2 pupil, Caspar has been very busy over the weekend, baking and selling Christmas cookies to his neighbours to raise money for The Salvation Army.
For every £19 he has raised, he has donated a box of food and small gifts to a family in need. We are delighted to say that following two days of non-stop baking/selling, Caspar has raised a total of £117.60, including £13 of his own pocket money.
He has been able to donate six boxes to the Salvation Army, which he is absolutely thrilled about.
A message from The Salvation Army:
"Thank you [Caspar]. Your donation will save lives.
The Salvation Army works to provide caring and practical support to people who are most vulnerable this festive season. Our work is only possible because of your generous support, so please be assured of my sincere thankfulness - even more so considering what an unprecedented year this has been. Above all, be warmed by the thanks I send you from the people whom you are helping today with your donation."
