Head Of DT Receives Heart-warming Letter From RUH Staff

"After supplying PPE for the RUH ICU and designing a face visor to cope with long term use and sterilisation I produced multiple iterations to fine tune the design. ICU in Bath are still using the visors supplied in May as they are required for all patient contact regardless of COVID status. Visors are particularly pertinent for those that wear glasses.

Receiving this letter from the RUH made my heart swell and made me stop and think of all those who are still working hard to treat patients in hospitals all over the country. I designed and manufactured these visors purely as a stop gap before the supply chain kicked in but to hear they are still being used makes me really proud. I feel warmed to the core and just glad that I could be of help in this time of need.

The individual messages from the doctors and nurses at the RUH really blew me away, the fact they took the time to write when they must be so busy really is heart-warming."
