Students Engage In Eye-Opening Discussions At Youth Climate Summit

February 26th 2020
Before half term, a group of students from the Sustainable Development Society attended the Bath Youth Climate Summit at King Edward’s School, Bath.
This year, there were a record number of attendees, and those who attended were treated to some thought-provoking talks from people including Steve Smith, a BAFTA award winning director of the Graham Norton Show who is also an eco-consultant who encourages sustainable activities in aspects of program making, as well as Wera Hobhouse, the Bath MP.
There were many eye-opening discussions on plastic pollution and recycling, and all students were left inspired to promote climate action in not just their daily lives, but also around the school.
