On Saturday, the Netball Club had eighteen teams competing against King Edward’s School, with some excellent performances on show.

The 2nd Team successfully secured a 29-21 win and the girls played well against their physical opponents – Emily and Eleanor were both excellent in the shooting circle.

The U14As showed composure going into their last quarter, drawing 17-17 and eventually winning 24-19. Phoebe was the stand-out player, being influential at centre and wing attack.

Kingswood School wishes the squad good luck at the Regional Finals this Saturday.

The U13s won all four of their fixtures and it was the U13C team who received Team of the Week, with Gaby invaluable as goal shooter, moving tactically around the circle and shooting accurately.

Eleanor was also a steady pair of hands as goalkeeper and made a number of brilliant turnovers.

In the centre court, Charlotte stood out, and Kristy was creative and fast at centre.

At the end of the third quarter, the girls were 5-4 up and the game could have gone either way, but soon turned it around in the final quarter, scoring seven goals to win 12-4.
