Year 10 & 11 Students Waltz Into December With A Charity Ball
On Saturday afternoon, four Year 11 girls helped decorate the Dining Hall and lay the tables ahead of the Year 10 & 11 Charity Christmas Ball taking place that evening.
Students arrived at 19:00 looking very glamorous and were greeted with delicious fruit cocktails in the Theatre Foyer.
The dinner took place in the Dining Hall where several Sixth Form students and members of staff gave up their time to act as waiters and waitresses and to help wash up afterwards.
A student four-man band played throughout the meal entertaining guests and Nice one Mr Wesley went down very well with everyone joining in!
The Catering department did a fantastic job with the meal – the rocky road brownie and cheesecake were real crowd pleasers.
Thanks to the numerous donations from members of the school community, the evening culminated in a charity raffle which raised over £600 for Open Arms in Malawi.
