December 3rd 2019
On Friday, 25 Kingswood students joined the climate march in Bath, leading and carrying the banner at the front.
Around 1000 people took part in the strike - the samba band and Extinction Rebellion made for an empowering atmosphere.
Powerful speeches were delivered by Elsa, Molly, Polly, Rachel and Yuma, who all stated their pressing concern for change and their reasons for striking.
The event ended in a political hustings where members of the public and Kingswood students all asked the Labour, Liberal Democrat’s and Conservative candidate’s views on the climate crisis.
Overall, it was a hopeful and positive experience on the march.
