Pre-Season Wins For Hockey and Rugby Teams

Last week, over 300 students took part in pre-season rugby and hockey, culminating in tournaments for both.

The 1^st XI hockey enjoyed a busy tournament hosted by Cardiff Met University.

Over three days, the girls took part in a strength and conditioning session and an analysis task.

They played five matches and had three good wins; a great opportunity to play different opposition and see the girls progress.

The 1^st XV rugby hosted a tournament for schools from across the country.

They started with a convincing win against Prior Park and then followed it up a with a draw and a loss against Downside and Blundell’s respectively.
