Kingswood Enjoy Two Evenly Matched Fixtures Against Beechen Cliff

Kingswood enjoyed two evenly matched football fixtures against Beechen Cliff on the Thursday before half term.

The 1^st XI fared well in a tight match that remained 0-0 until the final 10 minutes.

Sam was able to poach a goal following a misjudgement by the goalkeeper which gave Kingswood the advantage.

Some excellent defending from the School’s back four prevented the home team from equalising and Kingswood held on for a fine 1-0 win reversing the score of the same fixture last year.

Meanwhile, the 2^nd XI took the lead through Alban but lost concentration at the end of the match to allow Beechen to equalise.

The final score stayed at 1-1 with neither team able to find a breakthrough in the final few minutes.
