Hall House Raise £400 At Annual Valentine’s Day Dinner
Hall House hosted their annual Valentine’s Day Dinner before half term in order to raise money for the cancer charity, Coppafeel.
The Pavilion was turned into a romantic restaurant and 22 Sixth Form couples were treated to a stunning meal and entertainment.
The starter was Grilled Lobster Salad, Marinated Fennel, Spicy Guacamole, Turmeric and Chilli Bread.
For the main course, the guests enjoyed Club Steak, Café Du Paris Butter Gastro Chips, Breaded Garlic Portobello Mushroom and Slow Roast Tomato.
For dessert, the pupils had a delicious Crème Brûlée with Chocolate Palmier.
The guests commented on how the dinner was one of the most gorgeous meals that they have had during their time at Kingswood.
A group of musicians, led by Mr Chua, consisting of Tayo, Max and Johnny, helped create a suitable atmosphere for the evening.
It was a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and most importantly enabled Hall to raise over £400 for their House charity.
Mr Harding, Senior Housemaster for Hall House, has thanked the Catering department, the musicians, all of the Hall House boarders who waited on the tables and contributed to making the evening such a resounding success and the guests for being such great company.
