School Record Broken As Kingswood Perform Impressively In Swimming Gala

Last Monday, Kingswood hosted a swimming gala against Dauntsey’s.

It was a very competitive gala with Kingswood coming out on top in three out of the four teams.

The U16 Girls won five out of the seven events with Georgie winning the Individual Medley, Charlie winning the backstroke and Abi winning the freestyle as well as both relays.

Meanwhile, the U16 Boys enjoyed a clean sweep with Dan and Will W having two individual wins apiece and Will C winning the other event.

Nina and Anna were the pick of the Open Girls with wins in the fly and breaststroke respectively.

Marcus, who was swimming up an age group, won the backstroke in the Open Boys.

Lucas was very impressive winning both the individual medley and breaststroke.

He also broke the school record for the 100 yards breaststroke by over three seconds.

The combined scores for all four galas were Kingswood 197 and Dauntsey’s 150.
