The 1st XI won the County Tournament on Friday after beating Monkton Combe, Clifton High and Clifton College and drawing with Bristol Grammar School.

They have now progressed to the Regional Finals which will take place in November.

On Saturday, they were unlucky to lose a game they dominated for large parts against Clifton College.

The 1st XI were 2-0 up at half time but conceded a late flick to lose 3-2. Jess and Lizzie were both exceptional again with Holly scoring both of Kingswood’s goals.

The U15As were named Team of the Week after they beat Clifton College 4-1 having lost 8-0 to the same side last year.

Kingswood dominated the opposition throughout and played as a team with great determination and a positive attitude throughout the match.

Jess scored twice with Phoebe and Vicki completing the scoring but it was the effort of the entire squad which stood out.

Elsewhere, the Westwood sides did very well against the Royal High School, winning five out of the six matches and drawing one.
