Successful Week For Kingswood’s Hockey Teams

It was a busy week for Kingswood’s hockey teams with the 1^st XI drawing 1-1 against a strong and spirited Argentinian tour side.

Jess equalised late on after Rigam had made several fine saves to keep Kingswood in the game.

The U12Bs were named Team of the Week after they played very well on Saturday to beat a strong Beaudesert team 2-0 thanks to a good team performance.

Daisy scored both of Kingswood’s goals and Amy was named Player of the Match.  

This performance followed on from them playing superbly to win the U12B tournament at the Royal High School on Wednesday.

India scored four of the team’s eight goals, and Gaby continued her fine form in goal and didn’t concede throughout the tournament.

Kingswood won all five of their matches which included good wins against Millfield and Redmaid's.

Elsewhere, despite losing 3-2, the 1^st XI put in their best performance of the season so far against a strong King’s Bruton side.

The rest of Kingswood’s senior teams enjoyed good wins whilst in the matches against Beaudesert Prep School, the U13s continued their good form with Phoebe and Alice both scoring hat-tricks in a 9-1 win for the As.
