U14As’ Comeback Earns Them Team Of The Week

Kingswood’s Senior rugby teams had a hard-fought block fixture against Taunton School on Saturday whilst Westwood’s team enjoyed some practice matches.

Whilst the Senior teams found things difficult against some physical opponents, the U16s both won comfortably to continue their excellent start to the season. Harry and Ciaran both scored hat-tricks in these matches.

The U14As were named Team of the Week as they showed great character to turn around a 16 point deficit in the final 20 minutes of the match to secure a 27-21 victory.

Despite the backs scoring of the tries, the foundation for the comeback was laid by the forwards with Will and Rob particular effective.
