U12A Cricket Team Advance To Final Of Bristol And Bath Schools Cup

It was another successful week for Kingswood's cricket teams with a block fixture against Dauntsey's at the weekend and two fixtures against Bristol Grammar School and Beechen Cliff in midweek.

Kingswood won five matches in the block fixture against Dauntsey's with the School's bowlers picking up most of the plaudits after some impressive displays.

The Team of the Week are the U12As who put in an impressive performance against Bristol Grammar School in midweek to win the semi-final of the Bristol and Bath Schools Cup.

An outstanding partnership of 72 from just six overs between Charlie and Joe set the tone for the match and saw them reach 152-4 from their 20 overs.

Joe made 41 from just 14 balls including eight fours and a six. Joe and Alice then bowled a very good opening spell which was crucial in ensuring victory.

On Saturday, Charlie earned the Man of the Match award for an excellent innings of 56, two catches and some economical bowling. Ollie made a useful 20 and John's impressive bowling helped Kingswood secure an 18 run win.
