U13Bs Named Team Of The Week After Victory Against Colston's

The U13Bs have been named Team of the Week after they produced an accomplished all-round display to win by 37 runs against Colston's School.

The team were under pressure at the start of the match after a couple of early wickets but Rory helped steady the ship after an excellent 54. He was aided by a quick-fire 20 from Oscar, and a really good knock from Rufus who scored 46 not out, including seven fours.

Rufus also took three wickets, making him the very worthy recipient of the Man of the Match award.

Elsewhere, there was another good performance for the U12Bs thanks to an excellent innings by Jasper as their run chase looked in danger of faltering. He scored 51 not out from 26 balls to see them to victory.

The 2nd XI also produced their best performance of the term to win by seven wickets, with Marcus impressing again with bat and ball.

The highlight of the day came from Joe who hit his first ball of the game and only his second ball of the season for six.
