U14s Progress In Cup With Win Over Nailsea

On Thursday, the U14s secured a good win in the cup as James top-scored with 48 to beat Nailsea. The 1st XI were also victorious thanks to a composed inning from Oscar after Kingswood had dismissed Monkton for 33.

In Girls' cricket, the U12s played their first game of the season and won very impressively against Millfield, scoring 331-284.

Emily earned Player of the Match after bowling accurately and fielding superbly. She also top scored with the bat, hitting two sixes.

Emmy and Imogen were the top scoring pair, making 42 in their allotted overs.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Boys' cricket teams tested themselves against some new opponents, King's Worcester. Although the majority of results went against Kingswood, there were some excellent matches with both of the U13s' matches going down to the wire. For the U13As, Noah and Louis both made half centuries in an excellent 137 run opening partnership.

The U12As have been named Team of the Week after they secured an 86 run victory. Kingswood batted first and set an impressive 164-5 from their 30 overs with Oliver's 62 not out a highlight.

King's Worcester lost two early wickets to Alice when they batted. All of the team bowled well and Joe was exceptional behind the stumps, taking two high quality catches.
