School And Upper Win Senior House Gala

School and Upper won this year's Senior House Gala which took place last Wednesday.

Lucas, Oliver and Jamie all had two individual wins each. The School and Upper U16 and Hall Open Relay Teams won both the Medley and Freestyle events.

School House won both the U16 and Open Girls, Upper won the U16 Boys and Hall House won the Open Boys.

Summerhill and Middle finished in third place, Hall and Fonthill in second and School and Upper were this year's winners.

On Friday, Kingswood hosted U13 and U15 galas against Prior, with Kingswood winning six out of the eight relays.

For the U13s, there were wins for Charlie, Maisie and Will C, and Dan and Will W won two each. Georgie was up against a swimmer who had won events at the Nationals and Georgie pushed her all of the way.

In the U15 Gala, Nina won the butterfly and Marcus won both the backstroke and freestyle.

Finally, at the end of last term, a number of swimmers took part in a sponsored swim. The event raised £500 for the British Heart Foundation.
