Successful Gala At Marlborough For Kingswood Swimming Club

On Thursday, four teams competed at Marlborough along with Clifton and Winchester. Kingswood was the only team to have a swimmer in every race and the School won 16 out of the 28 races.

The combined scores for the girls put them in first place whilst the boys were tied in first place with Winchester.

This was the last gala for the U16 and Open teams and during Assembly, the Swimming Club awarded some colours.

Five Year 11 pupils were awarded Colts Colours and four Sixth Form students were awarded Half Colours.

Jamie, who is an exceptional breaststroke swimmer, was awarded Full Colours along with the two captains, Oliver and Yemi. The pair are both excellent all-round swimmers and have also been outstanding role models to the younger pupils in the Swimming Club.
