Four teams travelled to Dorset on Saturday to compete against Sherborne, Canford, Clayesmore, Blundell's and Marlborough.

Kingswood's U16 girls team consisted of five girls from Years 7-9 and they were competing against a number of swimmers in Year 11. Georgie in Year 8 impressed as she came second in both of her A string races. The U16s finished second place behind the hosts Sherborne.

The U16 boys team also finished second overall behind Marlborough. Tayo and Ted both won their B string races whilst Alex also finished second place on his debut for the team.

The Open Girls finished fourth with Julia in good form. She secured two second place finishes in B string races. Connie in Year 8 stepped in at the last minute to swim for the Open Girls and the points she got helped secure the team's fourth place finish.

Lucas impressed for the Open Boys teams. He won the Individual Medley with a five second personal best and came second in the butterfly. Jamie completed the Relay team which had an impressive win in the Medley event and came second in the Freestyle. Misha and Mathew both earned crucial points for the team to help them finish in second place behind Blundell's.

The combined scores put Kingswood on 183 points just 11 points behind Sherborne meaning that the School finished in second place.
