Mr Duke Makes Great Strides For Charity

Our Lower School Boarding Housemaster, Mr Duke, along with others from the Kingswood community, have been making great strides towards raising funds for the Hami Nepal Youth Organisation in their battle against the COVID-19 crisis in Nepal. 

Mr Duke is attempting to climb the staircase in Westwood House 972 times - the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest! 

As a school, we have a close association with Nepal having always had boarding pupils from a Nepalese heritage. There are currently 19 pupils in Westwood from this community and 39 across the whole Foundation. 

The situation in Nepal is dire with a lack of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), oxygen, effective testing, and a vaccination programme. The money raised will go towards the provision of these essential items.
