Leavers' Destinations 2020
Our Year 13 cohort celebrated some excellent A-Level results this August and we are pleased to say that of students 83% secured places at their first choice institutions, whilst over 90% secured their places at either their first or insurance choices.
Kingswood students will be starting courses at 43 different universities this autumn, with 59 taking up places at Russell Group institutions.
Exeter University retained its position as the most popular university destination for Kingswood students, with nine starting there later this month.
Other popular universities include Cardiff, Durham and Manchester (six students each) and Edinburgh, Warwick, Bristol and Southampton (four students each).
Henry was successful in securing his place to read Mathematics at Oxford whilst Kotoko will be taking up her place at Cambridge to read Engineering.
"We are delighted that, after the difficulties of the last six months, so many of our students are now able to move on and begin the next chapter of their lives. Congratulations to them all, and we’re looking forward to working with the current Year 13 to ensure they enjoy similar levels of success in 2021."
