Senior Sports Fixtures and Events

The Hockey Club faced a busy week with a total of 15 fixtures and the U16s competing in the Tier 3 Regional Finals.

The U16s drew with Mount Kelly 0-0, beat the King’s School 2-0 and Clifton College 1-0.

Through to the semi-finals, Kingswood faced Truro High School who took the upper hand this time.

A fantastic achievement for all involved and particular mention goes to Olivia for her work rate on the day.

On Saturday, the club played in a block fixture against Colston’s, winning ten fixtures and drawing one.

An incredible achievement with lots of teams performing well.

Team of The Week goes to the U13Cs who looked strong from the start.

Lucie and Kim in particular displayed strong performances and Lucie scored four of six goals.

Well done to the 1st XI who travelled to Solihull to compete in the third round of the Investec Girls U18 Schools Championships and came away with a 2-1 win.

Both goals came from set pieces and Charlotte was awarded player of the match for her exceptional work rate in both defence and attack.

Finally, the Hockey Club would like to award the Co-Captains Holly and Martha with their full colours.

They are two of the most influential players for their work rate in midfield and exceptional individual skills.

They have played against opposition who represent England and they have never looked out of their depth.

Their passing and vision mark them out as players of the highest standard.
