U13 And 14s Hockey Teams Enjoyed Their County Tournaments
It was a busy week for the Hockey Club with both the U13s and 14s playing in their respective County Tournaments.
The U13s worked tirelessly winning two matches and drawing two.
The 14s competed well in a round robin taking them through to the West Final Preliminary round.
The highlight of the tournament was the win over Bristol Grammar School, and Emma was the Outstanding Player on the day.
On Saturday, the girls played 15 fixtures against King Edwards, winning 12 out of the block.
There were a number of strong performances with the 1sts, 2nds and 3rds all picking up good wins.
The U15Bs secured a fine 2-0 win - Anna worked constantly in midfield, pushing up to attack and dropping back well to defend.
The U12Ds had a thrilling game with Aimee and Chrissie making countless tackles and Ellie scoring two goals to seal the 2-0 win.
The Team of the Week was awarded to the U13As who won 2-0, with Anna scoring both goals and Iona playing a pivotal part in defence.
