Only the U12 matches against Colston’s survived the weather.

In two competitive matches, Kingswood just came up short but there were some fine individual performances in both games.

For the Bs, Edward and Archie produced a fine stand of 70 for the first wicket.

Edward then took three early wickers to make Kingswood win look likely before Colston’s fought back.

The As were unfortunate as they had by far the worst of the bowling conditions.

However, Will impressed, taking two good wickets, and Toby and Drew, who was named Man of the Match, bowled well taking a wicket each.

These two were the pick of the batters, sharing a good partnership which at one stage looked like getting the team close to an excellent win.

However, a late flurry of wickets handed Colston’s the win.
