Records Broken At The House Cross Country Relays

Last Tuesday, the third annual House Cross Country Relays took place in glorious conditions on the Middle Playing Field.

Upper Senior Boys A finished first overall, beating the course record by over a minute with a tie of 29.30 while Middle Year 9 and 10s came second overall to win the Inter Boys category, only nine seconds outside the Inter Boys record

School House Team A were victorious in the Senior Girls race.

Arguably the most impressive team were the School House Year 9 and 10 Girls who were on fine form, finishing 1^st and breaking the course record by over two minutes.

In the Westwood races, it was Beckford Year 7s who dominated the Girls race and in the Boys, a superb tussle between the Cusworth and Posnett Year 8 teams led both to break the course record, but it was Cusworth who came home first to claim the victory and set the new record.
