£260 Raised For Comic Relief Thanks To ‘Splat The Teacher’ Event
On Friday, the PR set the challenge of organising ‘Splat the Teacher’ which helped raise £260 in aid of Comic Relief.
Comic Relief assists vulnerable people and communities in the UK and internationally, and their vision is to create a world free from poverty by funding amazing organisations.
The first to take to the wooden stools were Mr and Mrs Smyth alongside Mr Woodgate, and were lucky with the calmest session only getting a light drizzle of soapy water.
Secondly, Mr Amner and Mrs Dakin were soaked by sponges, mostly of which came from Westwood pupils.
Mr Musgrove and Miss Belinger were drenched by the lunchtime crowd, with Mr Musgrove getting some of the best hits of the day!
Mr Moat, Mr Peerless and Mr Stuttard were next and they were soaked by the ice cold buckets.
The final session saw a host of teachers: Miss Wilson, Mrs Mainwaring, Mr Allchorne, Mr Harding, Mr Snell, Mr Pentreath and unexpected arrivals from members of the PR, take to the stools.
The PR have thanked the teachers for taking part and everyone who donated to help raise a fantastic amount for Comic Relief.
