Rugby 7s Side Show Great Improvements In Competition
After a slow start against King Edward’s, the Rugby 7s team put in a much better performance against the much-fancied Dean Close side, although they eventually lost.
Kingswood’s third game against Wycliffe was again a tight affair, with both teams battling hard at the breakdown.
Eventually Kingswood snuck the victory and a place in the plate competition and a game against Sir Thomas Rich School awaited the side.
Kingswood conceded early but fought back to record an impressive win.
In the final against Prior Park, Kingswood conceded first and it was not until the last four minutes of the second half that our team pulled away and won by 10 points.
It was a really good afternoon that saw great improvement from the squad.
Harry and Reuben played every minute of every game and always led by example in attack and defence.
